Obituary

Hayden Robert Matanane, beloved son of Julie and Tim Matanane, passed away on August 15, 2025, in Henderson, Nevada, at the age of 27. His short life was filled with both humor and heart. Born on August 28, 1997, Hayden brought joy and love to the lives of his family, friends, and all who knew him. From a young age, Hayden showed his heart for service. He devoted time weekly to his church as an altar server and as a member of the Columbian Squires. He frequently supported his parish through his participation in charity drives. In his time as a boy scout, he found joy in being a part of a team, working closely with others, and supporting a cause. As a student he worked as an aide to assist students with disabilities. These experiences revealed his compassion, patience, and generous spirit. Hayden was a friendly, outgoing, and a charming young man, who naturally drew people in with his energy and easy smile. He found fulfillment in his work as a proximity marketer in sales, where his ability to effortlessly form meaningful connections truly came to light. Hayden loved the outdoors and was an avid sports enthusiast. He found joy in fishing, hiking, and golfing. He had a passion for food and treasured family gatherings. Hayden was caring, spontaneous, style conscious, and at times mischievous. Those who knew Hayden will remember his big heart and his boundless compassion for his family and friends. Hayden is survived by parents Tim and Julie, brother Ryder, sister Caitlyn, grandparents Robert and Carolyn Greene, Dave Matanane, aunts and uncles Mary (Dave), Charlotte (Bill), David (Cindy), Cathy, Tricia (Joe), Stephanie (Tony), Dawn, Nick (Denise), Courtney, Sean, his cousins Lauren (Josh, Jace), Sean, Colton, Siena, Camden, Marisa, Jack, Olivia, Connor, Kellen, Jake, Emily, Jacob, Zach (Allison), Tyler, Rebecca, Josh and Logan.
