Alfredo Abella, age 88, of Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away Tuesday, March 28, 2023 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Alfredo was born February 05, 1935 in Pardo, Cebu City, Philippines and was the son of Alipio and Cipriana Abella. He married the love of his life Emerita Ibones Bacatan on October 8, 1967. Alfredo was an Electrical Engineer. He had been employed by American Aluminum, Whippany Paper Board, Ohaus Scale Corporation, and NEC. Alfredo is survived by his wife, Dr. Emerita Bacatan Abella; his son Sheffield Abella, his wife Alison and their two children, Dominique and Donovan; his son, Adriano B. Abella, his wife Nenita and their two daughters Justine(James) and Elecia(Brock); his daughter Rosario Tibbot, her daughters, Jennifer and Janessa; and his great-grandchildren, Amerie, and Silas. He is predeceased by his parents, and siblings, Cesar Abella, Francisco Abella, Erlinda Jaca, Priscilla Tan and Doring Gabiana. A eulogy and memorial mass will be held on May 6th, 2023 at 1:00pm. Mass will begin at 1:30pm followed by a reception at Christ the King Catholic Community, 4925 South Torrey Pines Drive, Las Vegas, NV 89118.
