Obituary

Andrew David Goida, 82 of Las Vegas NV, died after a long struggle with Alzheimer's disease on the morning of Wednesday June 24th, 2026. He was born in Endicott NY and a longtime resident before joining his family in Las Vegas NV. He is joyfully reunited with his parents Andrew & Ann, brother Donald & wife Maureen. He is survived by son Michael Goida & wife Suzie, son David Goida & wife Ali, daughter Shannon Goida & son Ryan Goida, all of Las Vegas NV and grandchildren Logan, Mason & Quinn, who he loved dearly. Sisters Diane Dingman & Mary Ann Goida. And many cousins, nieces & nephews.

He was a proud Air Force veteran. He worked for the General Electric company for 2 years and retired from IBM/Fidelity after 30 years as payroll manager in Endicott NY. He served on the board of Our Lady of Good Counsel Church in Endicott, trained the altar boys for 7 years and served as a eucharistic minister. He is a member of St. John Paul II church in Las Vegas which is affiliated with St Francis of Assisi. He loved fishing back east and coached little league.

He was well known throughout all his life for his strong outgoing personality and love for all and was gifted with the greatest sense of humor! He will be greatly missed by all he encountered!

Schedule of services to be held on July, 22nd 2026:

· 10:00 AM - St Francis of Assisi Church - 2300 Sunridge Heights Pkwy, Henderson NV 89052

· 1:00 PM - Honor guard & blessing from Clergy - Palm Easten Cemetery 7600 S Eastern Ave, Las Vegas NV 89123

· 2:00 PM - Dinner Reception - TBD
