Artie Gerard Garrelli, 54, of Las Vegas, NV, passed away on January 1, 2024, in Las Vegas, due to a very short battle with cancer . He was born in Las Vegas, NV. April 30,1969. Artie was a sports enthusiast and enjoyed betting and watching his favorite teams especially with his dad. Artie was a huge conspiracy theorist and wanted to share his views with anyone that would listen. His story telling was infectious as he remembered every single detail and somehow finished with a lesson. Artie is survived by his parents, Art and Grace, his grandmother Theresa, his sisters Laura and Tina, his nieces Marley, Haylee, and Mia, his great-niece Skye, and his nephews Zack and Markey, his best friend Nugget, and friends whom he called his family, who all shared countless memorable moments with him. Artie attended St. Viator and Gorman High School, then continued his education at UNLV. A Mass will be held in Artie's honor on January 26, 2024, at 11 am at St. Viator Church. A gathering will be held after mass at Parkway Tavern 'Volunteer' location, to provide an opportunity for family and friends to come together to remember and celebrate Artie's life. Artie's kind spirit, loyalty and outgoing personality will forever be cherished by those who were fortunate to know him. Artie spent the last weeks of his life surrounded by family and friends who got to see the true essence of his spirit . His bravery, strength, humility and pure love and gratefulness will be forever remembered and we know he will rest in peace.
