Aubrey Frey Ruesch, age 2, was born August 2, 2021 in Onawa, Iowa to Brittnai Shappie and Jason Ruesch and passed from this life to eternal rest on May 26, 2024. Aubrey was raised by Brittnai and Jason in Blenco, Iowa with her siblings Allison, Adam and Avory. Aubrey is survived by her Granmier Michelle Shappie; her grandmother, Nancy Smyth; her grandpa, Rob Pavolwski; her grandma, Dena Pavolwski; her 'Grandma June' Heck; her Mommy, Brittnai & Daddy, Jason; her sister Allison, brother Adam, sister Avory, her Aunt Leah, Aunt Jessica, Aunt Rosie, Uncle Daniel, Uncle Aaron, Uncle Christopher, Uncle Mike, and cousins Dillin, Trevor, McKenna, McKinley, Flynn, Paxton, Lane and Henry . Aubrey was predeceased by 'Grandma Searchlight', Mary Crosby; 'Pepop', Larry Shappie; 'Gramma-bebe', Linda Shappie; Mike Ruesch, grandfather; Frank Smyth, grandfather; and Uncle Nick Ruesch. Aubrey was loved by all and among other things, she enjoyed parks and just loved cows and horses.
