Beatriz F. Veneracion of Las Vegas, Nevada passed away March 18th, 2024, at the age of 93. She was born on July 29th, 1930, in San Miguel, Bulacan, Philippines. Betty graduated from Centro Escobar University Manila with a B.S. in Pharmacy. Betty migrated to the U.S. and was trained at the Minneapolis General Hospital to become a certified medical technologist and worked at the Presbyterian Hospital in Newark, New Jersey for years. She decided to move to the warmer state of Florida and worked at Boca Raton Hospital, then moved to Las Vegas to retire. Betty was an active parishioner at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church and was involved in the Eucharistic ministry, linen ministry, and as sacristan for many years. She also volunteered at Valley Hospital for 20 years. Betty is preceded in death by her parents, Jose G. Veneracion and Inez de le Fuente Veneracion, brothers Nemencio Veneracion and Jose Veneracion Jr. She is survived by her nieces and nephews Francis Veneracion, Manuel Veneracion, Pete Veneracion, Marie Grace Veneracion, Nemencio Veneracion Jr., Marites Veneracion, Reynaldo Veneracion, Carmelo Veneracion, Carl Veneracion and Carol Veneracion. The family of Betty would like to thank those who lovingly cared for her, showed her compassion, consoled, called, visited, bought flowers, foods and many simple gestures of love and care. To all the priests and church ministries who prayed, anointed, and gave Betty the Holy Eucharist, thank you, and may God bless you all.
