Born in Philadelphia on June 9, 1958, Bernardo was raised in Puerto Rico, a place that shaped his vibrant spirit and deep love for his heritage. A man whose world revolved around his family, Bernardo was happiest when surrounded by his children and grandchildren. He was a constant source of support and affection, known for his warmth and the pride he took in watching his family grow.

He is survived by his devoted children, Jorge and Leana Gonzalez, and his cherished grandsons, Adrian and Aaron Gonzalez. He also leaves behind his loving siblings: sisters Mirta and Claribel, and brother Carlos. Bernardo and Mittens will forever be remembered for the unbreakable bond they shared and the lasting love they left in the hearts of their family.
