Brian Gregg Heather of Lewisville, Texas, died peacefully in Las Vegas, Nevada, on July 27, 2024. He was 52 years old. Brian was a native of Des Moines, Iowa. After graduating from Mercy College and working as a radiologic technologist, he later moved to Texas to start a family and advance his career as a consultant in the medical information technology field. He enjoyed fishing, video games, and the Dallas Cowboys. Dating back to his teenage years making tacos with his sister in a Mexican restaurant, Brian loved to cook-even though he always made a mess. Brian is survived by his sons Aiden and Brandon Heather of Lewisville; his sisters Kim (John) Buller and Tammy Swift, and his nephew Tyler Buller and nieces Sarah (Ross) Bruns and Sydney Swift, and a great-niece and great-nephew-all of Des Moines. He was preceded in death by his mother Karen Heather and his father Joseph Heather, as well as his grandparents Gregg Thomas and Loretta Thomas. Brian will be remembered for his sense of humor and the love he had for his family. In accordance with his wishes, Brian was cremated and there will not be a public memorial service.
