Bryan Lee Hewitt, 67 of Woods Cross Utah, died March 13, 2026 in Las Vegas, Nevada after a sudden illness.
Bryan was born in Salt Lake City, Utah in 1958 to Nelda Patricia (Heki) Hewitt, Frank W. Hewitt. Bryan attended Edgemont Elementary, American Heritage School, Union Middle School, Hillcrest Highschool. Bryan joined the United States Navy and became a Teletype operator. Held high security responsibility and was praised for his ability and achievement. He proudly served in Adaka, Alaska & San Nicolas Island off the California coast.
Bryan loved animals and frowned upon any mistreatment of his four-legged friends. He seemed to have a green thumb when it came to gardening and he seemed to enjoy it. Unfortunately, his turtles also liked his gardening. He raced Go-Karts with his family from 11-17 years of age and he was quite competitive and pretty good at it. He had a keen eye for drawing and used to draw spaceships and aliens. His spaceships looked like the space shuttle before the space shuttle was even a thing. Maybe they stole the design from him. Whenever the family would go camping or on any sort of an adventure, Bryan was always on the lookout for wild life. He would hunt for lizards and bugs, etc... Something about it intrigued him.
Bryan married Billie K. Lopez June 26, 1976. They welcomed 2 boys and 1 girl. William Hewitt, Adam Hewitt and Shilo (Josh) Beach. They later divorced. Bryan married Susan M. Edmonds November 11, 2011.
