Carlos Alberto Coto, affectionately known as Cata, passed away on January 21, 2024, in Henderson, NV, at the age of 57. He was born on November 3, 1966, in Santa Ana, El Salvador, to Rafael Repreza and Maria Magdalena Coto.
Carlos spent his childhood in Santa Ana, where he cherished fond memories with his family, especially his younger brother Rafael Alexander Repreza. On July 21, 2000, he exchanged vows with his beloved wife, Xiomara Coto, in Van Nuys.
He pursued his education at Leopoldo Nunez Santa Ana and later built a career at Frias. Carlos found joy in cooking, shopping, and soccer, indulging in these hobbies whenever he could. He held steadfast to his Christian faith throughout his life.
Carlos leaves behind a loving family in Henderson, NV. He is survived by his devoted wife, Xiomara Coto, and their daughters: Brenda Aguilar, Jazmine Deleon, Joselyn Deleon, and Karla Coto. His daughters' spouses, Pedro Carias, Paul Saine, and Steven Valenzuela, mourn his loss deeply. He will be dearly missed by his grandchildren: Danny Zarate, Joshua Zarate, Sarahi Aguilar, Samantha Ramires, Abigail Ramirez, Sophia Carias, Frances Saine, Isaac Valenzuela, and Andrew Saine, as well as his great-grandchildren: Obed, Amaya, Isiah, Rosemary, and Isabella.
A celebration of Carlos's life will be held on February 3, 2024, at 3:00 PM, at 4460 W Hacienda Ave Suite 109, Las Vegas, NV 89118.
A message from the family: I would like to thank our family and friends for all the love and support we received from the moment my husband passed. They truly made the process way easier. I would also like to thank Southwest Medical Associates for all their hard work and dedication making sure my husband got nothing but the best care possible. Lastly, we like to thank Aaron & his wife from Care Cremation & Burial for being very caring & helpful with everything from beginning to end.
