Clarence Daniel "Dan" Cummins, 69, of Las Vegas, died Monday, November 3, 2025 peacefully at his residence.
Dan, son of Ruth E. (Weed) Cummins, was born on September 15, 1956 in Columbus, Georgia. He attended Westminster High School in Westminster, California. Dan enlisted in the United States Army in January 1974 as a Petroleum Specialist. He later graduated from the Respiratory Therapist Program at the California Paramedical and Technical College in Long Beach, California in 1986.
He settled in the Las Vegas area, where he worked as a Certified Respiratory Therapist. Dan enjoyed coaching baseball, fishing, camping, traveling, dabbling at photography, and karaoke.
Dan is survived by two sons, Joshua (Jennifer Ramirez) Cummins of Van Buren, AR, Shane Cummins of Las Vegas, NV; four grandchildren, Collin and Rosalyn of Van Buren, AR, Tripp and Trevin of Las Vegas, NV; three brothers, Scott Cummins of Creston, IA, Brian (Sandi Boyer) Cummins of Parowan, UT, Barry (Sabine) Cummins of Lakewood, CA; two nephews, Brian II and Tony; and three nieces, Crystal, Angela, and Wendy.
Dan was preceded in death by his mother, Ruth (Weed) Cummins and grandparents, Lonnie and Laura "Gertrude" (Scott) Weed.
Military Funeral Service will be held at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Boulder City, Nevada on December 8, 2025.
