Curtis Crowell died on Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at the age of 58. He was a resident of Las Vegas since 2001. He was born in Spencer, North Carolina. His parents were James and Harriette. His brother was Tyson Crowell. All are deceased. He is survived by Carol Crowell, his wife of 23 years. Curtis graduated from the University of North Carolina and was a member of the marching band. Until this day he is a loyal Tarheel! Curtis spent many years working in video production. He was most happy running camera at sports events. Teams included his beloved UNC Tarheels as well as both the Golden Knights, Silver Knightsand Aviators here in Las Vegas. You could ask Curtis any question about movies or music (hard rock that is) and he could give you not only every detail about the movie or music but also the names of the musicians, actors, directors and at least one bit of minutiae that made you wonder how he knew of and remembered all of it! Curtis wished his ashes to be spread in all the places important to him in North Carolina. Arrangements haven't been made yet.
