Daniel "Danny" Rader Weisenmiller, 39, passed away in his home on July16th, 2024. Danny was born October 25th, 1984, in Las Vegas, NV. He was the son of William Mark Weisenmiller and Mary Malloy Weisenmiller. Danny graduated from Burk Academy in 2003. He went on to attend the Community College of Southern Nevada where he studied horticulture and worked at the CCSN Plant Nursery. Later, he continued to develop his knowledge of, and skills in horticulture while working in landscape design and for the City of Las Vegas Parks and Recreation Department as a Field Monitor.
Danny had a passion for plants and nature and a fascination with living creatures. His imaginative spirit led him to creative pursuits like playing guitar and drawing. Danny was a true collector, collecting coins, knives, and vintage items. His happiest moments were camping, fishing, and spending time in nature, especially with his dad. Danny's gentle and loving spirit touched everyone he met, and he is deeply loved and cherished by his family and many friends. He will be remembered for his hilarious sense of humor, profound insight, immense sensitivity, genuine kindness and generosity, and deep affection for those he loved.
He is preceded in death by his father, William Weisenmiller. Danny is survived by his mother, Mary Weisenmiller; his brother, Mark Weisenmiller and his sister, Beth Weisenmiller; his sister-in-law, Kendal Weisenmiller; his niece and nephew, Grady and Blakely Weisenmiller; and many beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins.
His memorial service will be held on Friday, September 27th, 2024, at 10:30 am at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 5830 Mesa Park Dr, Las Vegas, NV with a reception to follow at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 4340 W Warm Springs Road, Las Vegas, NV.
