Daryl Warren Blakely, age 59, of Las Vegas, NV, passed away on Thursday, June 20, 2024. He was born on March 25, 1965, in Toul-Rosieres, France, the beloved son of Robert Wilmot Blakely and Beverlin Blakely.

Daryl graduated from Newnan High School in Newnan, GA in 1983 and later earned his degree from Southern Illinois University in 1987. He pursued a career in the hospitality industry and was known for his passion for travel, having explored many parts of the world.

Daryl was an Eagle Scout with the Boy Scouts of America and had a variety of interests including movies, gardening, and creating yard art. He cherished time spent with family and friends and will be remembered for his creativity and generous spirit.

He is survived by his parents, Robert and Beverlin Blakely of Las Vegas, NV; his brother, David Alexander Blakely, also of Las Vegas, NV; two aunts, three uncles, and eight cousins. He was predeceased by one cousin.

Daryl chose to be cremated, and his remains will be placed in the Pacific Ocean near San Diego, CA at a future date, in accordance with his wishes.

In honor of Daryl, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
