Deborah Diane Crowe (Bug), a beloved daughter, sister, mother, and grandmother, passed away on December 27, 2023, at the age of 51. Born in Hopewell, Virginia, Deborah was the cherished daughter of Vera Diane Simmons and the late Joseph Harry Simmons.
Deborah leaves behind a legacy of love, warmth, and devotion to her family. She is survived by her mother, Vera Diane Simmons, sister, Rene Waters, and her four children: Brandon Jordan, Brandi Jessop (Kelly), Milton Owens IV (Jamie), and Jacob Owens. Deborah's love extended to her grandchildren, Caroline Diane Jessop, Nikki Jessop, Derick Jessop, Shania Jessop, Oliver Owens, and Theodore Owens, and nephew Joseph Jarrett, who brought immeasurable joy into her life.
Deborah was a woman of deep faith, with Jesus holding a special place in her heart. Her unwavering devotion was evident in the way she lived her life, embracing the teachings and embodying the values she held dear. She found solace in her spirituality, and her faith provided her with strength and comfort throughout her journey.
A woman of many passions, Deborah found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She had a special affinity for sewing, crafting beautiful pieces with love and care. Horses were another love of hers, and she spent countless hours tending to them, finding peace in their gentle presence.
Deborah's move from Polk County, Florida, to Apple Valley, Utah, marked a significant chapter in her life. It was in the picturesque landscapes of Apple Valley that she found the serenity she craved. Surrounded by the breathtaking southwest mountains, she cultivated gardens and cared for horses, creating a haven that reflected her love for nature and the outdoors.
Her feline companions, Queenie and Shrimp, held a special place in Deborah's heart. Their companionship brought her comfort and joy, and she cherished every moment spent with them.
Deborah was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Harry Simmons. She is now reunited with him in eternal peace.
A memorial service to celebrate Deborah's life will be held on January 13th, 2024, at the Mountain View Events Center, 560 W Academy Ave, Colorado City, Arizona, 86021, at 2:30 pm.
