Douglas A. "Doug" Krasner, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, coach, and mentor, passed away on August 19, 2026. He was born on January 26, 1942, in Queens, New York.

Doug was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lorraine C. Krasner, to whom he was married for 43 years, his oldest son, Paul and his sister Beverly. He is survived by his daughter, Catherine; his son, John; and his daughter-in-law, Gina. He also leaves behind his grandchildren, Alexus, Samantha, Casey, Cory, Cody, and Peyton, and his great-grandchildren, Skylar and Cayden.

Doug was an amazing man whose love, guidance, humor, and unwavering support touched the lives of everyone around him. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, a respected coach and mentor, and a cherished friend to many. His legacy will live on through the family he loved so deeply and the many people he encouraged throughout his life.

A service honoring Doug will be held on Thursday, September 24, 2026, at 12:40 p.m. at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery.

Following the service, Doug and Lorraine's ashes will be interred together, reunited forever. They will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
