Obituary

Beth was a loving and beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She has been a member of Grace Presbyterian church for 50 plus years. She has sung with the church choir for most of those years, including special choir projects, such as singing with Sammy Davis Junior, the special Messiah performance with Robert Shaw, the concert at Carnegie Hall in New York, singing under Dr. John Rutter, and the choir trip to Scotland. She directed the children's music program with sister Tai for several years. She was a deacon and participated in the brown bag project and family promise. She belonged to the Mesquite club, the Boulder City Art Guild and the Las Vegas Artists' Guild. Her love of art and photography was a source of joy and healing throughout her life and later she decided to make that a career. She became a licensed insurance agent, and, with a friend, opened and operated a successful insurance agency. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Wayne, and brother Bruce. She is survived by her sister Tai, three daughters Julie, Carol, and Eve, who have lovingly and tirelessly cared for her in her recent illness, four grandchildren Sila, Aaron, Sydney, and Sarah, and 3 great grandchildren April, Arabelle, and Abigail. She loved to cook and expressed her love of others through her cooking, going so far as to grow her own herbs and spices. She had an amazing green thumb demonstrated by her wondrous and fragrant gardens and trees. She had a great love of travelling, and would be the first to volunteer for any trip, especially road trips. She travelled through much of the country, including Alaska, as well as abroad, to include England, France, Scotland, Wales, Ireland, and China. She had an extreme joy in living life to its fullest, and shared that joy with others whenever possible.
