With her loving family by her side, Esther "Levi" Hillevi O. Cahanding went to be with the Lord Jesus Christ on July 11, 2024. She was born on July 14, 1956, in Solano Nueva Vizcaya, Philippines, the beloved daughter of Alfredo L. Ortiz Sr. and Avelina R. Ortiz. She leaves behind her only precious daughter, Angie Mendoza, her sisters Evelyn and Lillian, her brothers Jerry, Nelson, Percy, and Elvis, and her husband Cesar. Levi graduated high school in Solano, Nueva Vizcaya, and later earned her Bachelor's of Nursing in Quezon City, Philippines at Ortanez University. She migrated to the United States Sept 27, 1991, and pursued a career in the health industry and school district throughout the years. Levi loved to help her family in any way she could. She enjoyed watching her Filipino channel and talking on the phone with her sister Evelyn. She loved going out to eat and spending time with her whole family. She enjoyed traveling, fashion, shopping, and babysitting her daughter Angie's dogs Zoey and Pepperoni. Levi enjoyed her simple life and touched many people's lives. She was a hard-working strong woman, and a fighter until the end. She was a smart woman, with a big sense of humor, who loved to make jokes and laugh. She was extremely kind and had a smile for everyone. She will be missed by her family and her daughter. Rest in Peace, our Angel.
