Eugene L
Williams
Aug 30, 1976 — Oct 9, 2026
Eugene Leroy Williams, affectionately known as Leroy, was born on August 30, 1976, in Riverton, Wyoming, to Eugene Leroy Williams Sr. and Peggy Lee Williams.
Leroy attended Dubois Elementary School in Wyoming and graduated from Walden High School in Colorado. He continued his education at Portland State University in Portland, Oregon, and completed numerous insurance licensing programs throughout his career.
Leroy worked in various positions before spending several years with Country Insurance. His dedication and success earned him numerous honors, including being voted Best Insurance Agent in Las Vegas, receiving All Star recognition multiple times from Country Insurance, and earning commemorative certificates in securities and insurance. He eventually moved to Las Vegas, where he purchased into an Allstate agency and planned to spend his retirement.
Leroy enjoyed traveling, playing pool, golfing, hunting, paintball, and hiking in the mountains. He especially cherished spending time with his beloved three-year-old dog, Enzo, who was a loyal companion.
Although his marriage to Gayleen Guyton ended in divorce, Leroy remained a loving presence in the lives of her children, Lauren and Wattie, whom he continued to care for and support throughout the years.
Leroy is survived by his mother, Peggy Williams of Casper, Wyoming; his sisters, Tamra Stoller of Ladysmith, Wyoming, and Dawn Kodesh of Casper, Wyoming; his brother, Chad Williams of Baker, Oregon; his stepchildren, Lauren and Wattie Guyton; his aunts and uncles, Daniel Wempen of Riverton, Wyoming, Zoe Cooney of Grand Junction, Colorado, Sandi Tutton and Dale Wempen of Pavillion, Wyoming; his nieces and nephews, Brandon Stoller, Desiree Talley, David Kodesh, Chelsie Kodesh, and Colton Kodesh of Casper, Wyoming, and Matthew Edwards of Windsor, Colorado; and his beloved dog, Enzo.
He was preceded in death by his father, Eugene Williams Sr.; his grandparents on both sides of the family; and his niece, Brittany Stoller.
Leroy will be remembered by his family and loved ones for the life he lived, the memories he created, and the lasting connections he maintained with those who mattered to him.
Funeral services are being planned and will be held at Sunnyside Nazarene Church in Kinnear, Wyoming. Details will be announced at a later date.
