With deep sorrow and heavy hearts, we share the passing of Fausto Relis on May 6, 2025, at the age of 68, following a sudden and tragic accident. Born in Havana, Cuba, Fausto was the cherished only child of Nelsa and Fausto Relis Sr. He carried his roots with pride, always finding joy in the rhythms of salsa music and the warmth of family traditions. Fausto shared 46 beautiful years with his beloved wife, Andy, building a life grounded in love, laughter, and unshakable devotion. He was a proud and loving father to Marco and Amber, who brought him endless joy and pride. Those who knew Fausto will remember him as a force to be reckoned with-opinionated, dramatic, and never one to keep things quiet when they could be stirred up instead. Whether he was passionately debating something (even when no one asked), dancing with flair, grumbling over traffic or bad coffee, or loudly rooting for his favorite racer, Fausto lived life full throttle. He had a sharp wit, a strong will, and a knack for making any gathering unforgettable-whether through laughter, lively conversation, or a well-timed dramatic exit. He didn't just walk into a room-he made an entrance. Though his time with us was cut short, Fausto's generous heart lives on. In his final act of compassion, he gave the gift of life to others through organ donation-a reflection of the way he lived: giving, loving, and always thinking of others. A memorial service will be held to celebrate his life on Friday, May 23rd at Grace Hills Church, 24521 Moulton Pkwy, Aliso Viejo, CA 92637. Fausto will forever live on in our hearts-in every shared dance, every revved engine, every family gathering. His spirit will be with us, always.
