Gavin Zane Martin was born in Henderson, Nevada on June 13, 2003. Gavin impacted so many lives in his short 20 years here on earth. He had a smile that could light up the night, an infectious laugh, and a heart of gold. He was hard working, loving, generous, thoughtful, inclusive, and helpful to every friend and stranger he ever saw in need. He was the image of love. He loved God, his family, his friends, music, babies, sunsets, boots, dogs, and his hats. On February 24, 2022, Gavin achieved what only .08% of the population has: he became a MARINE. He was the same as a MARINE as he was a civilian. He was a leader in every sense of the word. He set an example of kindness, he never left anyone out or behind, he was dependable, he excelled in every drill, and he was awarded special jobs and extra phone calls. Gavin is survived by his parents, Thurman and Jodi Martin & Erika and Billy Waddilove, his brother Thurman Martin, his sisters Addisyn Martin, Paityn Martin, Brookelynn Fitch, and Sarah Fitch, his girlfriend Kenzie Cornell, his grandparents, many Aunts & Uncles and cousins, friends and loved ones. Gavin gave the best hugs; we know he was welcomed into heaven into the arms of the Lord and covered with his grace and love. May he forever dance in his boots in heaven.
