Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Georgiana Constant Maly, who left this world on November 28, 2025, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Born on December 8, 1949, in Lynn, Massachusetts, Georgiana, known to most simply as Georgie, lived a life that was anything but ordinary. Georgie is survived by her three sons: John Mazzone and his wife Kimberlee of Scituate, MA; George Mazzone of Las Vegas, NV; and Joel Mazzone and his wife Rusheilla of Clovis, CA. She will also be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Sophia, Matthew, Isabella, John, and Hazel, as well as her sister Linda Constant and many cherished nephews and her niece. She was predeceased by her parents, Hazel and George Leon Constant; her husband of 26 years, Bryon Maly; her sister Eva Soucy; and her first husband, John Mazzone, father of their three sons. Although she was a graduate of Peabody High School, Miss Dolly's Dance Academy, and some college courses, her ambitious nature earned her a degree from the "school of life" from raising three boys, managing a football league, running a business, to teaching tap dance and becoming the only certified contortion instructor in the San Joaquin Valley to teach young students as well as making jewelry and costumes for them. In addition to her love of and talent in dance, Georgie could play piano, loved to cook large meals and host everyone during the holiday seasons or any other special occasion. Friends and family will forever cherish the countless funny, quirky, and heartfelt stories that only she could inspire. An adventurer at heart, Georgie loved traveling with her husband Bryon to visit friends, family and vacation destinations across the country and around the world. Though her formal name was Georgiana, she was known as Georgie to friends and relatives, Teacher Georgie to her students, Gigi to her grandchildren, and above all and most importantly, Mom to her sons. She was always present, sometimes a bit too present as her boys might lovingly admit. She was always there, always caring, always trying, her involvement came from a place of incredible devotion. There was nothing you could ask of her that she wouldn't do, in good times and bad, never letting her boys go without. She wanted nothing more than to see her children happy, and she threw herself into supporting them in every pursuit: art lessons, guitar practice, little league, football, cooking, and beyond. Her love was persistent, at times overwhelming, and always genuine and from the heart. Georgie was a character and a force of nature. She loved deeply and never stopped trying to make life brighter and exciting for those around her. Though she has departed this world ahead of schedule, her spirit and memories will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
Rest well now mom, we love you.
