Gilma Andersen (Gilma Alcira Bello Florez) was born on 10/20/1962 in Guaduas, a small village in Colombia. Gilma had her only daughter Tatyana on 1988, and lived in Bogota until 2007 when she immigrated to the United States. She lived in Las Vegas the last 17 years, she married Timothy Andersen in 2009 and they built the life of their dreams together despite all difficulties they went through with Tatyanas immigration process.

Gilma became a successful real estate agent, loved pets, enjoyed shows on the Strip, was always very proud of being Colombian, and most of all loved her daughter and husband to infinity and beyond like she always used to say.

Gilma passed peacefully at home on New Years Day 01/01/2024 surrounded by her daughter and husband. She was 61 years young.

Don't think of her as gone away, her journey's just begun. Life holds so many facets, this earth is only one. Just think of her as resting, from the pain, in a place of warmth and comfort, where there are no days and years. Think how she must be wishing that we could know today, how nothing but our sadness can really pass away, and think of her as living in the hearts of those she touched, for nothing loved is ever lost, and she was loved so much.

Even beautiful things have endings, but it doesn't mean they have to be forgotten. Moments are memories, no matter how broken, complicated or messy those moments may have been. This chapter is ending for her, and with it all the pain and suffering she went through. However, healing will be hard and will take time for all the people she is leaving behind... although it doesn't mean that beautiful beginnings are not coming for all of us. Experiences are lessons and endings are new beginnings.

Words will never be enough!!! Gilma, you will always be in our hearts.

Gilma Andersen (Gilma Alcira Bello Flrez) naci el 20/10/1962 en Guaduas-Cundinamarca, un pequeo pueblo de Colombia. Gilma tuvo a su nica hija Tatyana en 1988, y vivi en Bogot hasta el ao 2007 cuando emigr a Estados Unidos. Ella vivi en Las Vegas los ltimos 17 aos, se cas con Timothy Andersen en 2009 y construyeron juntos la vida de sus sueos a pesar de todas las dificultades que atravesaron con el proceso de inmigracin de Tatyana.

Gilma se convirti en una exitosa agente de bienes races, amaba las mascotas, disfrutaba de los espectculos en el Strip, siempre estuvo muy orgullosa de ser colombiana y, sobre todo, am a su hija y a su esposo hasta el infinito y ms all, como ella siempre sola decir.

Gilma falleci rodeada de amor y cuidados en su casa el da de Ao Nuevo 01/01/2024 acompaada de su hija y su esposo.

No piensen que ella se ha ido para siempre, su viaje apenas acaba de comenzar. La vida tiene tantas facetas que el paso por esta tierra es slo una. Slo piensen que ella ahora est en un lugar fantstico, donde no hay das ni aos. Piensen que ella debe estar deseando que podamos saberlo, para que nuestra tristeza se haga mas llevadera en esta nueva normalidad que empezamos a vivir, y recuerden que ella sigue viva en los corazones de aquellos que la conocieron, porque alguien amado jams se olvida, y ella fue muy amada.

Incluso las cosas bellas tienen un final, pero eso no significa que deban olvidarse. Los momentos son recuerdos, sin importar cun rotos, complicados o desordenados hayan sido. Este captulo est terminando para ella, y con l todo el dolor y sufrimiento por el que pas, sin embargo, el duelo ser difcil y tomar tiempo para todas las personas que est dejando atrs... Las experiencias son lecciones y los finales son nuevos comienzos.

Las palabras nunca sern suficientes!!! Gilma, siempre estars en nuestros corazones.
