It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Gina Marie Brown. Otherwise known as "Gina Marie", "Gina B", "GB", or simply just "G". Gina was born on June 16, 1966, in Las Vegas, Nevada and left us on January 14, 2025 at the young age of 58 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
As a lifelong resident of Las Vegas, Gina attended Bonanza High School where she was a gifted athlete in both track and basketball. After high school, she worked in the valet industry with the majority of her years spent at the Bellagio having opened it in 1998 and had worked there until her passing.
Gina spent her life caring for others, often before herself. She was a proud member of the recovery community for over 30 years and guided countless women that were on their own recovery journeys. Although Gina cherished her human connections, her true passion was being an advocate for those who do not have a voice - animals. Whether they have fur, feathers, or shells she would do everything that she could do to save, feed, adopt, or shelter them. She spent many years advocating for God's creatures through various organizations that she believed in. Because of her tireless efforts, she was recognized by many charitable organizations as well as the Bellagio for all that she had accomplished.
Gina is predeceased by her beloved father, Judge Seymore Brown (2000). She is survived by her sister Cheryl Lawrence and her husband Robert (Bob) of California and brother Joe Brummett and his wife MaiAn of Florida.
Gina was a beacon of unwavering friendship, kindness, and service and has left an indelible mark on the hearts of all who were fortunate to know her. She was known for spreading love and kindness to everyone she encountered and had a rare gift of leaving a lasting impact to all who crossed her path. Our lives will forever be richer for knowing and loving our sweet angel, Gina.
Gina has been laid to rest next to her father at Woodlawn Cemetery in Las Vegas, Nevada. A celebration of life will be held at a later date and will be announced through friends, family, and social media.
