Idalia Mejia de Recinos, aged 72, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 19, 2024, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Born on March 22, 1951, to Maria Antona Menedez Torres, Idalia brought joy and warmth to the lives of those around her. She had a deep passion for sports, proudly supporting the San Francisco 49ers and being an avid Los Angeles Dodgers fan. Idalia also found joy in the thrill of gambling and cherished moments spent on the beautiful beaches of Southern California. Left to cherish her memory are her loving daughters, Yudice A. Flores and Maria A. Menendez, and her sons, Maurice A. Recinos and Danny O. Recinos Sr, as well as grandchildren Vanessa Menendez Garza, Anthony Martinez Jr., Gabriel Cerda, Janessa Recinos, Alexis Recinos, Danny Recinos Jr., Robert Recinos, Paulina Zambrano, and Paulete Zambrano.

A celebration of Idalia's life will be held at Care Cremation & Burial, 5070 Arville Street #14, Las Vegas, Nevada 89118, on Saturday, February 3, 2024, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. To honor Idalia's memory, contributions can be made to support the family during this challenging time.
