It is with great sadness that our family announces the passing of our beloved mother, mentor, and matriarch, Induben Balvantrai Naik. She passed away peacefully at age 85 on September 3rd, 2024, in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. She was born on March 8th, 1939, in Kaccholi, India to Kikubhai and Gajraben Naik. She was a resident of Luanshya, Zambia until 1976 and subsequently Las Vegas, NV. She lived a life of love, passion, and kindness. Her impact on our lives is immeasurable and her legacy will live on through us. She is survived by her husband, Balvantrai Naik; eldest son and wife, Kirti and Priti Naik, elder daughter, Heena Miller, and youngest daughter, Meena Naik; 3 granddaughters, Mandy Murphy (Matt), Reema Naik (Shawn), and Reena Naik; 3 great grandchildren, Oliver, Ella, and Liam; younger sister, Rama Mehta, and many more nieces, and nephews.

Please Note: In lieu of flowers, it was our mother's wish for donations be made to Gandhigar Kaccholi, the non-profit school for deaf children established by her father, Kikubhai, to continue providing educational and life skills education that embodies Mahatma Gandhi's concepts to help those less fortunate.

Services will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2024 starting at 2pm at Bunker's Eden Vale Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd North, Las Vegas, NV 89101, proceeded by a private farewell prior to cremation for immediate family.
