James Robert MacMillan, age 81 of Henderson, Nevada, passed away Saturday, October 14, 2023. James was born March 19, 1942 in Cleveland, Ohio, son of Bob and Helen MacMillan. He married the love of his life, Dianne on August 14,1965 in St. Louis, Missouri and shared 58 wonderful years together. James was a General Contractor. He owned and operated James R. MacMillan, Inc., where he built and developed over 160 buildings across Southern California. James is survived by his spouse, Dianne MacMillan of Henderson, NV and three daughters: Jennifer Dorand of Tulsa, OK, Kathy MacMillan of Portland, OR, and Shannon MacMillan (spouse Claire), of Lansing, NY. He is also survived by four grandchildren: Trevor (spouse Jennifer), Madisen Fae (spouse Carter), Quetzal and Ida Frances. Funeral Mass will be scheduled at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 2300 Sunridge Heights Pkwy, Henderson, NV 89052, on Thursday, Oct. 26, 2023 at 10am.
