Mr. Jesse Davis was born September 16, 1961 to the late Jay and Josephine Davis in Walnut Grove, Mississippi. He graduated high school at South Lake High School in Walnut Grove. He obtained his bachelor's degree from the University of Southern Mississippi. After graduating college he moved to Yosemite, California. He worked at Yosemite National park for many years then transitioned to Guidance Counselor and Champion Color Guard Teacher at Galt High School in Sacramento, California. Jesse met is lifetime partner and Husband Daniel West in 2013 and moved to Las Vegas, Nevada. He then worked at Bailey Middle School as a Counselor and lived out the reminder of his days. Jesse was preceded in death by both his parents Jay and Josephine Davis and his favorite cousin Clyde Lee Harris. He leaves to cherish his memories, his Husband Daniel West, Step Children Crystal Bennett (David Bennett), William Newman, three brothers, Joycee Davis (Patsy Davis), Larry Davis (Delphine Davis), and Johnny Davis (Marie Davis), two uncles Bobby Joe Spivey and Willie Spivey, one aunt Mary Spivey, one favorite aunt Carolyn Spivey, and three favorite friends Dwight and Melody Fortune, Shondria Gates. Along with a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
