Joanne Warren, of Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away surrounded by her loved ones on January 19, 2024. She was 65.

Joanne was born on May 29, 1958, to Maurice and Eileen Timony, in Queens, New York. She was the first daughter in their family of seven children. Joanne was a graduate of John F. Kennedy High School in Bellmore, New York. She grew up in Merrick, New York and was an active member of the Cure of Ars Roman Catholic Church.

As a teenager, and into her twenties, she was the head of the parish folk group, which included her four sisters and many friends, where she led them in musical worship. She also sang at many weddings and funerals. Joanne had a beautiful voice and a passion for music.

After graduation, Joanne became a certified nurses aide. She worked at A. Holly Patterson Nursing Home, where she met her husband, Kenneth Warren. They were married 29 years and together for 39 years. They were a loving couple and liked to attend Irish music events, gun and antique shows, and Mets games. Joanne loved her Mets and her family.

She was extremely kind and had a smile for everyone. She finished her career in the health care industry as a physical therapy rehabilitation assistant at Nassau County Medical Center. She retired in 2014, and then moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in 2020.

She is survived by her loving husband Kenneth Warren of Las Vegas, MV; her siblings Dennis Timony, Theresa Hurtado, Michael Timony, Kathleen Timony, and Ellen Stayman, all of Las Vegas, NV, as well as twelve nieces and nephews, four great nephews, and Rocky, her four-legged son. She is predeceased by her parents and sister, Maureen Timony.

Services for Joanne will be held at Bunkers Eden Vale Mortuary on January 31, 2024, from 2:00-5:00pm, and a funeral mass at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Roman Catholic Church on February 1, 2024, from 11:00am, with a church visitation beginning at 10:00am.
