Obituary

Jodi Lee Kiser-Galinato, of Las Vegas, NV, age 65, passed away on Friday, December 26, 2025, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Jodi was born on August 3, 1960, to Ernest Kiser and Loretta Campaglia. She was preceded in death by her sister, Lenny Jo Barnes, and her nephew, Fred Barnes, Jr. Jodi attended Fremont Christian High School and later pursued higher education at DeVry University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems, graduating Summa Cum Laude in 2015. She took great pride in her academic achievements and lifelong love of learning. Throughout her career, Jodi worked for Informix Software, Mary Kay Cosmetics, and Ameriprise Financial, where she was known for her dedication, intelligence, and professionalism. On May 27, 1989, Jodi married Larry P. Galinato in Palo Alto, California. Their marriage was one of deep commitment and love. Jodi was a devoted wife and cherished the life they built together. Jodi had a tender heart and found great joy in the companionship of her beloved cat, Mango. Her faith was important to her, and she was a member of the United Methodist Church of the Resurrection in Leawood, Kansas. She is survived by her loving husband, Larry Galinato, of Las Vegas, Nevada; her niece, Janna Pirnat, of Hillsboro, Oregon; and her nephew, Keith Barnes, of Tigard, Oregon. A graveside service and reception will be held on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at Johnson County Funeral Chapel & Memorial Gardens in Overland Park, Kansas. The family extends heartfelt thanks to Jodi's many friends who offered prayers, well wishes, and generosity during a most difficult and challenging time. Jodi will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
