Obituary

Joe Eugene Masters, 74, of North Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away on Thursday, March 6, 2025. Born on September 4, 1950, in Ponca City, Oklahoma, Joe was the son of Joe Eugene Masters Sr. and Ruby Jewel Esther Masters (Kemp).
Joe's family was incredibly important to him. He was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings Ruby DeLois Myers, Jewel Ester White, Loretta Christine Roland, and Bobbie Darlene Masters. He is survived by his sisters Betty Jo Tillis and Yvonne Davis, his two beloved sons and daughters in law, Alexander Masters, Christopher Eugene Masters, Shannon Rezents and Bernice Masters, and his cherished grandchildren, Lianela Masters, C-Jae Masters, Sulieti Masters, and Amenadiel Masters.
Joe was an alumnus of Oklahoma University and Oklahoma State University. He dedicated his career to educating and serving as a member of the Department of Defense, working closely with the Armed Forces.
Outside of his professional life, Joe had many passions. He was an avid racquetball player, enjoyed exercising, and loved to travel. One of his favorite pastimes was walking on the beach and picking up seashells. Known for his sense of humor, Joe had a knack for making those around him laugh. He was also notorious for his love of snacks, especially European chocolate and peanuts, which he couldn't resist.
Joe's extended family, including numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews, will also remember him fondly.
He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and a sense of adventure. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
