Kenneth Michael Shulz, affectionately known as Kenny, passed away unexpectedly on August 18, 2025, at his home in Las Vegas, Nevada.
He was born on March 11, 1986 in Amery, Wisconsin to Nancy Amelse, and Michael Shulz.
He has one brother, Nicholas Shulz, a sister in law Jami Shulz, two nephews, and one niece. His godchildren are Landon Haley, Kenzi, and Logan Shulz. He also has a half sister Kylie, and two step brothers, Jamie, and Timmy.
Kenny was raised in Clayton, Wisconsin, and graduated from the Clayton High School in 2004. He started working at the St Croix Casino in Turtle Lake, Wisconsin in the summer when he was 16 & 17. Then at 18, he did security, and then table games. In 2009 he moved to Las Vegas Nevada, and worked at Hooters and Golden Nugget doing table games. Then he worked at the Mirage, and became table games supervisor. Once that closed down, he went to work at Grand Park MGM, and OYO as table games supervisor.
Kenny enjoyed his guns. In Wisconsin, he enjoyed hunting, and in Las Vegas, he would go with friends out to the desert target shooting.
Kenny was survived by mother Nancy (James) Amelse of Pahrump NV, father Michael Shulz of Turtle Lake, Wisconsin, brother Nicholas (Jami) Shulz of Rice Lake, Wisconsin, half sister Kylie Shulz of Turtle Lake, Wisconsin, stepbrothers Jamie & Timmy Amelse of Eau Claire, Wisconsin, nephew Landon Hayley of Cumberland, Wisconsin, niece Kenzi Shulz, nephew Logan Shulz of Rice Lake, Wisconsin, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, family, and friends.
Predeceased by both grandparents, Bernard and Dorothy Meyer, and Richard and Peg Shulz, 2 unborn brothers, and his cousin Anne .
A celebration of life for Kenny will be held in September in Turtle Lake, Wisconsin.
