Kevin James Peek was born on August 14th 1977 in Lancaster, CA to David and Judy Peek. He grew up in Lancaster CA and later Rosamond CA. He graduated from Rosamond High School in 1995. He grew up playing baseball in Little League and later played baseball in High School. He attended a Seattle Seahawks game when he was young with his Uncle Burt when he visited him in Washington State and was forever a 12th Man after that. He was a fan of three-wheelers, quads and Jeeps and playing in the dirt. He was an avid bowler who participated in a league for more than ten years and was awarded a "300" ring.
He loved movies (like Jurassic Park and the Sandlot) and could quote sentences to paragraphs at will. He loved to watch sports and spending Sunday afternoons at home or at Coach's watching football. He could often be heard yelling at the TV in both celebration and "assisting" both coaches and referees with their calls. He enjoyed trips to Laughlin and Las Vegas and was a fan of Blackjack and the Buffalo slot machines. He loved 80's music and could be talked into Karaoke easily. He had a great sense of humor and I am sure we will all miss hearing his laugh. He spent his last days with family and was always up for an adventure (Costa Rica, Skydiving, visiting friends in Tennessee, or going to a Seahawks game). He worked for Direct TV for 17 years and it is hard to see a van and not look for Kevin. He was a loving son, brother, uncle, nephew, and friend. He is survived by his mother Judy, his sister Heather, his brother Drew and three nieces and two nephews. He is proceeded by his father David. In the words of Bret Micheals - Kevin "here's to ya"!
