Apr 19, 1956 — Jul 29, 2025
Laureen Paulette Cabiles, a beloved daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and friend, peacefully passed away on July 29, 2025, surrounded by the love and prayers of her family. Born on April 19, 1956, she was the cherished daughter of Bernard Parva Cabiles and Mary Louise Lau.
Laureen's life was a beautiful testament to kindness, compassion, and unwavering faith. She truly believed that a small act of kindness could make a world of difference, and she lived every day with a heart open to serving others. Whether through her gentle words, quiet strength, or warm embrace, Laureen made everyone feel valued and loved.
She was a devoted sister to Debra, Rocky, Kenneth, Brenda, Shantel, and Dean. As a mother, Laureen gave her all to her three daughters: Shantela Jean Yadao, Jessica Maile Cabiles, and Alexandra Patricia Suenaga. She also welcomed her beloved son-in-law, Jowel Yadao, into the family with open arms and a loving heart.
Laureen was a proud and devoted grandmother to Kayla Yadao, Katelyn Yadao, Malia Yadao, Madison Yadao, Dominic Damas, Derek Damas, Nicolas Damas, Aidan Damas, Brandon Brownlee, and Hayley Brownlee. Her soul radiated grace, humility, and gentleness—reminding us that we are all called to love one another.
Laureen was truly an angel on earth, and now she rests as an angel in heaven. Her legacy of faith, love, and kindness will live on in every life she touched.
"He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away."
