Linda Harris, 65, of Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away on January 1, 2025. Born and raised in Houston, Texas alongside her siblings David, Audrey, and Barbara, Linda was a loving and caring mother who touched the lives of everyone she met. She was a devoted Christian and cherished her faith. A vibrant soul, she was active in her youth as a member of the baseball and swim team, always with a passion for life. Linda was known for her love of people and embraced all walks of life with warmth and kindness. She is survived by her family Kenyatta Harris, Yanina Cruz, Julian Cruz, Elvin Cruz, Rosa Adame, Tonya Hardenan, CeCe Ambrose, Harold Ambrose, and Makayla Harris, among many others. In Linda's own words: "Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift. That is why it is called the present." A heartfelt poem written by her son Kenny captures the love and loss they feel: "Mother is heaven, If roses grow in heaven Lord, please pick a bunch for me. Place them in my Mother's arms and tell her they're from me. Tell her that I love her, miss her, and when she turns to smile, Place a kiss upon her cheeks and hold her for a while. Because remembering her is easy, I do it every day. But there's an ache within my heart that will never go away." Linda will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her love and spirit will live on forever.
