Obituary

Lisa Lea (Grensing) McCarville, 67, of Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away peacefully on September 24, 2026, in Las Vegas after a brief battle with cancer.

Lisa was born on January 13, 1961, in Las Vegas, Nevada, to Art and Edna Grensing. She spent her life building connections with the many people she met along the way and was known for her kind heart, warm personality, and wonderful sense of humor.

Lisa dedicated her career to customer service, working for several different companies throughout her life. One of her favorite places to work was Gander Mountain in Wilmot, Wisconsin, where she enjoyed helping customers and sharing a laugh whenever she could. Lisa loved telling the story of a

hunter who once called and asked if she knew how to make a duck blind. Without missing a beat, Lisa replied, "Sure... poke it in the eyes!" It was just one example of the quick wit and humor that made Lisa so memorable to those who knew her.

Lisa was a kind friend to everyone she met. She had a way of making people feel welcome and was cherished by her family, friends, and all those fortunate enough to know her. Her kindness, humor, and memories will remain in the hearts of those she leaves behind.

Lisa is survived by her children, Mandi (Jared) Janek, Haley McCarville, and Kelly (Cooper) Stewart; her grandchildren, Dexter Janek, Davin Janek, and Elliott Stewart; her father, Art Grensing; her sisters and brothers; and many other beloved family members and close friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Edna Grensing.

Lisa leaves behind a lifetime of memories, laughter, friendships, and love. She will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved her.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Details will be shared with family and friends when arrangements are finalized.
