Lois Wlodarchak, of Henderson, Nevada, passed away peacefully on June 16, 2026, following a short illness. She was 89 years old.
Lois was born on July 7, 1936, in Peoria Heights, Illinois, to Lola Damarin (Burnsworth Waggoner) and Otto L. Damarin. She graduated from Woodruff High School in 1954 and later attended Brown's Business College.
Throughout her life, Lois was known for her strong work ethic and caring nature. She worked as a teacher at Peter Pan Preschool in Peoria, Illinois, and was also employed by Behm and Hageman in Peoria. She later spent 23 years with Valley Forms in Spring Valley, Illinois, retiring in 1998.
Lois had a special love for animals and cherished the many pets she cared for over the years. She was a longtime member of Calvary Chapel in Henderson, where she found comfort and fellowship for many years.
On November 16, 1974, Lois married Richard Wlodarchak in La Salle, Illinois. Richard preceded her in death on May 1, 2007.
Lois is survived by her son, Larry (Sabrina) Robbins of Florida; five grandsons, Nick Robbins of Illinois, Luke Robbins of Illinois, Zachary Robbins of Iowa, Dustin Robbins of Colorado, and Ethan Robbins of Alabama; one granddaughter, Chase (Robbins) McInnis of Nevada; three great-grandsons; and two great-granddaughters.
She was preceded in death by her son, Marty (Michelle) Robbins of Peoria, Illinois; her parents; a brother; a sister; two half-brothers; her first husband, Everett Robbins; and her husband, Richard Wlodarchak.
In accordance with her wishes, no formal services will be held. A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
The family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to your local animal shelter in Lois's memory, honoring her lifelong love and compassion for animals.
She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
