Obituary

Lorraine Mary Brosnan, affectionately known as Lulu, passed away peacefully on December 25, 2025, in Las Vegas, Nevada, at the age of 58. She was born on October 11, 1967, in Brooklyn, New York, to Frank and Rosalie Rebuth. Lorraine was the beloved wife of Craig W. Brosnan, with whom she shared 35 devoted years of marriage. A loving mother and grandmother, she found her greatest joy in time spent with her family- especially her cherished granddaughter, Emma. For 15 years, Lorraine dedicated herself to her work at U-Haul, where her kindness, humor, and approachable nature made her a joy to work with. She had a natural gift for making anyone feel welcome and could turn a simple conversation into a moment of connection. Her warmth, wit, and generosity left a lasting impression on all who knew her. Lorraine was a devoted and reverent Catholic whose faith never wavered, even in the face of great adversity. She valiantly fought cancer for nearly a decade with remarkable grace and dignity, inspiring those around her with her strength and perseverance. She delighted in life's simple pleasures-watching reality television, especially The Real Housewives series, loving on her dogs Olive and Sophie and grandpup Donut, and laughing with family and friends. Her sense of humor and gentle kindness were hallmarks of her spirit. Lorraine is survived by her loving husband, Craig W. Brosnan; her daughters, Kristen Luque (Nico) and Lisa Bowers (Tyler); her son, Craig M. Brosnan (Anastasia); her granddaughter, Emma Luque; her parents, Frank and Rosalie Rebuth; her brother, Michael Rebuth (Maria); her sisters-in-law, Debra Combs (John) and Bonnie Rapess (Paul); her brother-in-law, Scott Brosnan (Barbara); and countless aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Grace Rebuth and Ben and Mary Polimine, and her mother- and father-in-law, Audrey and Robert Brosnan. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at 12:00 PM at Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Arrangements are overseen by Care Cremation & Burial. Donations can be made in Lorraine's honor to The American Cancer Society or The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation .
Lorraine's legacy of faith, love, laughter, and compassion will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
