Dr. Louis Vincent DiFrancesco, a 40-year resident of Las Vegas, joined our Lord on January 27th, 2024 at the age of 72 at his home in Henderson, surrounded by family and friends. Lou was born on September 13, 1951, in New York to Dr. John and Joan DiFrancesco. He graduated from Loyola High School in New York in 1965, Boston College in 1969 and St. Louis University Medical School in 1973. After his residency in anesthesia at Harvard's Massachusetts General Hospital, he moved to Las Vegas to practice anesthesia. Lou had a life-long interest in auto racing, aviation and finance. He participated in both the Cannonball One Lap of America Run and the Alcan 5000. He was also an avid traveler with his heart always in the Caymans. Lou is survived by his son, Joseph DiFrancesco and his daughter Amara DiFrancesco as well as his sisters.
