Luis Urquiaga passed away at home on August 16, 2025, after a very brief battle of cancer. Luis was born on October 30, 1963, in Havana, Cuba to Santiago and Mercedes Urquiaga who preceded him in death. The family moved to the United State and relocated to Las Vegas Nevada when Luis was a young child. Luis graduated from Clark High School and attended UNLV. Luis worked as a realtor for many years for numerous companies. He loved working on his own properties, repairing and remolding. He was also, in his younger years, involved with vintage car clubs and loved his vintage cars. He is survived by his children, Luis, Ilana and Nico all of Las Vegas, NV and a granddaughter, Mercedes of Las Vegas. He is also survived by a brother Jose from Washington state. He is also survived by his longtime friend, Lois Collins of Las Vegas NV. He leaves behind many friends and relatives. A private graveside service will be held. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
