Obituary

Lukas Michael Lothrigel, 22, of Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away on Tuesday, March 24, 2026. Born and raised in Las Vegas, Lukas lived a vibrant and meaningful life that, though far too short, left a lasting impact on all who knew him. Lukas graduated from Silverado High School and was pursuing his passion for justice and science at the College of Southern Nevada, where he was working toward becoming a forensic scientist. As a full-time student, he was dedicated, curious, and driven to make a difference in the world. He found joy in life's simple and creative pleasures. Lukas loved drawing, reading, listening to music, and immersing himself in anime. He had a unique sense of style, often seen in his cowboy boots and hats, and a deep appreciation for mini trucks, motorcycles, and car shows. One of his proudest accomplishments was building his mini truck alongside his mother, Lesa-an experience that reflected both his passion and the special bond they shared. Lukas will be remembered for the light he brought into every room and every life he touched. His warmth, individuality, and spirit made a lasting impression on everyone he met. He is survived by his loving mother, Lesa Lothrigel; father, John Harris; stepfather, Benny Lothrigel; siblings, Jazzmin and Jordan Airth; maternal grandparents, Mike and Wanda Chase; paternal grandmother, Jean Hui Harris; and his beloved pets, Asumo, Suki, Emmett, Laya, and Peaches. A Celebration of Life and Memorial Service will be held on April 4 at 11:00 AM at Care Cremation in Las Vegas. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to all who were part of Lukas' life-whether for a season, a reason, or a lifetime. They also wish to thank those who have supported them during this incredibly difficult time. The compassion and care shown by so many have brought comfort during an unimaginable loss. "A great soul leaves a mark that time can't erase. Legends never die-they live on in every story, every laugh, every memory through us." Lukas' memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
