Marcos Colcol Quiban, age 88, of Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away Sunday, July 2, 2023 at his home in Henderson, Nevada. Marcos was born October 25, 1934 in Philippines, a son of Eugenio and Felipa Colcol Quiban. He was married to the love of his life, Elisa Quiban. He was a history professor in the Philippines. He retired from Sears Roebuck as a purchasing manager. He also retired from United Airlines as a ground crew member in Hawaii. His faith was important to him and was a good catholic and belonged to St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Henderson, NV. Marcos enjoyed reading the newspaper and keeping up with politics. He loved history and cooking filipino cuisine and he was a boxing enthusiast and herbalist. Fitness was important to Marcos as well. He enjoyed playing the slot machines at the local casinos. He is survived by his wife, Elisa, as well as five children: Maria Es Lizette Quiban, Suzanne Nozawa, Judith Anne Keomaka, Anthony Jonathan Quiban, and Christopher Edmund Quiban, and grandchildren: Joshua Coronado, Naomi Coronado, Drew Nozawa, Dejah Keen, Frederick Keomaka III, Jacob Keomaka and Azalea Jenkins. He is also survived by two great grandchildren: Alana Keomaka and Maddix Jenkins and three siblings: Olympia Buenafe, Teofilo Quiban and Gloria Finuliar. Marcos was a dedicated family man who was kind and a loving father. He was selfless and sacrificed for his family. He will be greatly missed. Monetary gifts appreciated.
