Obituary

Margaret Mary (Cosko) Redoglia was born on April 23, 1955 and passed away on June 5, 2025 in Las Vegas, Nevada. "Peggy" was born, raised, and spent most of her life in Pasadena, California, where she attended St. Philips, St. Andrews, and Blair High School. She was married to Donald Redoglia in 1984 and they had two children, Lucy (1984) and Matthew (1986). Peggy was an enthusiastic member of the Tournament of Roses, serving on different committees every two years and walked (or rode a vespa) along the parade route a number of times. She inherited a lifetime membership to the Magic Castle (Hollywood) from her father and enjoyed taking family and friends for a night out or Sunday brunch (the only day children were allowed). While her children were young, Peggy could be found on weekends face painting for corporate parties at Calamigos Ranch in Malibu, or volunteering to rehabilitate injured race horses at the Pegasus Foundation Ranch in Chino Hills. She met Hans (Henry) Oor in 1998 and the pair spent many years together with their fur babies (probably a dozen cats and dogs over their 24-year relationship). Hans bought a home in Cedar City, Utah, where he ultimately retired in 2021, moving with Peggy, their cats Bob and Larry, and dog Gus. After Hans passed away suddenly in 2022, Peggy moved to an assisted living facility in Las Vegas, Nevada, where her sister also lived for a short time. Peggy's final days were spent in the tender care of Nathan Adelson Hospice, to whom her family is deeply grateful. She is survived by her daughter Lucy Redoglia, and son, Mathew Redoglia, grandchildren Aiden and Paige (from Lucy and her husband Matt McSorley), brothers Greg and Eddie, sister Tina, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, and friends. Her ex-husband, Donald, passed away in 2011, Hans in 2022, her sister Dede in the 80s, her brother, Billy, in 2000, and her parents, Bill and Margaret Cosko, passed in the 1990s. There is no public memorial service planned, as Peggy's ashes will be spread privately in the Sierra foothills of California.
