Marshall Lee Blacksher

June 6, 1964 – July 18, 2026

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Marshall Lee Blacksher, who passed away on July 18, 2026, at the age of 62.

Marshall was born on June 6, 1964. He attended Skyline High School before graduating from Castlemont High School in Oakland, California. Growing up in Oakland helped shape the strength, resilience, and character he carried throughout his life.

Marshall proudly served his country in the United States Navy. His military service was a source of great pride and reflected his commitment to something greater than himself. After his time in the Navy, he faced many of life’s challenges with determination and perseverance.

Marshall was a man with a unique spirit who experienced both triumphs and hardships. Those who knew him understood that, despite the obstacles he faced, he remained someone who deserved love, compassion, and dignity. His life serves as a reminder of the importance of extending grace to others, as everyone carries battles unseen.

Marshall is survived by his loving son, Robert Blacksher; his five sisters and two brothers; his many nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends, all of whom will carry his memory forward with love. Though his physical presence is gone, his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Marshall’s family finds comfort in knowing he is now at peace. His service to his country, the lessons he left behind, and the love he shared will never be forgotten.
