Mary Sue Ercolani was born July 1, 1940, in Selma, Alabama to Joseph Benjamin (J.B.) Ham and Audrey Davis Ham alongside fourteen siblings, closest in age to her sisters, Dorothy (Dot) and Bessie and brothers, Charles and Arthur. She passed away July 21, 2024, in Las Vegas, Nevada at 84 years of age. Mary graduated from Jones Valley High School in May of 1959 in Birmingham, Alabama. She married Everett Ercolani in Denton, Maryland on December 7, 1979. Throughout her life, Mary was known as a passionate, charitable, resilient, meticulous, and family oriented woman. She held many jobs over the course of the 84 years of her life, her favorites being when she was a secretary for the Federal Bureau of Investigation during J. Edgar Hoover's term, helped produce spacesuits for space shuttles at ILC Dover, and was a Teacher's Aide at Lake Forest Elementary. Mary also enjoyed many hobbies such as gardening, making stained glass, sewing, ceramics, giving to many charities and especially enjoying time with all of her grandkids.
Left behind is her husband Everett Ercolani, daughter Carole Muehleisen Glass (Gerald Glass), son Jeffrey Muehleisen (Michelle Koehn Muehleisen), grandson Bradley Combs (Aubri Ann Parker Combs), granddaughters Gabriella and Caitlynn Glass, grandson Paul Muehleisen, grandson Christian Glass, granddaughter Susan Muehleisen, grandson Joshua Glass, great granddaughter Ashlynn Parker Combs, great grandson Samuel Parker Combs, great granddaughter Elina Combs, sister Bessie Gann, daughter Emily Cunningham (John Cunningham), granddaughter Courtney Cunningham Tezonia (Tristan Tezonia) and children Catherine and Zachary, granddaughter Bridget Cunningham, as well as many nephews, nieces, and friends. Predeceased by; her father J. B. Ham in 1953, her mother Audrey Davis Ham in 1983, her sister Dorothy in 2009, her brother Arthur in 2014 and her other nine siblings during her lifetime.
Visitation will be held Thursday, July 25 at 4 p.m. at Care Cremation and Burial. Mary's funeral will be held Friday, July 26 at 8 a.m. at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
