Michael H. Greenwood (Mike), 70, of Boulder City, NV passed away on October 13th, 2024, with family at his side. Mike was born on June 2nd, 1954 to Norma Ekstrom Greenwood and Ellis Greenwood in Brattleboro, Vermont. Mike married Tinna Spelman, and had a daughter, Asa Spelman in 1981.

Mike later went on to work in construction in Orange County, Ca, where he met Renee Whalen through a mutual friend and remarried. He became a stepfather to 2 children, Crystal and Derrick Whalen. Mike was a passionate surfer during this time. He spent his time surfing at his favorite surf spot, San Onofre State Beach, and enjoying friends in the San Clemente area. Mike also worked in auto body at this time, repairing, painting and detailing the exterior of cars.

Mike moved to Boulder City, NV some years later, where he made many close friends. He spent his time working on and racing his flat bottom boat, and racing sand rails in the Nevada desert. Mike is survived by his daughter, Asa Spelman. Mike was predeceased by his father Ellis Greenwood, his niece Sara Wittenzellner and his nephew Mark Greenwood. Mike is survived by his brother Kenneth Greenwood, his sister Nori Greenwood Wittenzellner, and his mother Norma Greenwood.
