Obituary

Ok Ki Park was born on December 8, 1921, in Buyeo, Chungcheongnam-do, South Korea, as the oldest of five siblings. She peacefully fell asleep in death on September 10, 2025. She was surrounded by her loving family, in her Las Vegas, Nevada, home at the age of 103. She was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on March 24, 1974, sharing the same dedication date with her daughter, Sunhee. Ok Ki Park was a dedicated mother of six. Ok Ki Park immigrated to the United States in 1990 and lived with Sunhee for the first 6 years. She was a part of the original Las Vegas Korean Group. She will always be remembered for her love of the ministry and for truly enjoying association with her brothers and sisters. Ok Ki Park lived with her youngest daughter, Kyonghee, for most of her life. They were able to enjoy many trips to Zion National Park and the Grand Canyon, appreciating Jehovah's beautiful creations. She always gave her all to her children and was a person who lived by the Golden Rule, thinking of others first. Even through hardship, she remained positive, considerate, and thoughtful of others. Ok Ki Park believed in the hope at John 5:28, 29: "...all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out..." Although she will be deeply missed, we await the day Jehovah calls her name, and not only will she answer, but she will come running, full of life and in perfect health.
