Patricia Kleitz
Hearne
Oct 7, 1938 — Dec 11, 2025
Patricia (Patti) Kleitz-Hearne, 87, of San Antonio, Texas, passed away peacefully in Las Vegas, Nevada, on December 11, 2025, after bravely facing multiple health challenges.
She was born on October 7, 1938 in San Antonio, Texas to Reyes G Schultz and Maria Del Refugio (Mary Ruth) Montez. Patricia was a mother of six, and loved traveling the world fulfilling her passions. At the remarkable age of 75, she defied expectations by returning to school and earning a bachelor's degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Patricia devoted her professional life to help others with tax preparation.
Patricia is survived by her brothers Tony Schultz (Martha Ann "Tinker" Mass) and Ray Jr. Schultz (Angela D. Williamson), sisters Elizabeth Schultz, Mary G (Leonard J. Roussin) and Carol Berger, sons Don Carrington, Robert Scott Weyand (Jeanine), Lewis Cole, and her daughters Doreen Paradise (Michael) and Deborah Larotonda (Chris), as well as her many nieces/nephews & grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Jesus Schultz, Robert (Debra Lynn Dagel), sisters Terry Vasquez (Juan Vasquez) and Sylvia Stillings, her husbands Willie Hearne, Robert Samuel Weyand & Ralph Kleitz, son Fred Kleitz, and grandson Alex Kleitz.
Affectionately known as Grandma Pat or Patti, she was a woman of strong opinions and unmistakable character. She delighted in Harlequin novels, YouTube conspiracy videos, Yahoo news, bingo nights at the casino, fine cuisine, and she never hesitated to share her disdain for current political figures. Known for her quick wit and dry sense of humor, she kept those around her laughing and on their toes. Family and friends will remember her as an eccentric Texan with an attitude to match—fierce and unapologetically herself. She will be remembered by family, friends, and those whose lives she touched.
A Celebration of Life will be held on December 19 at 11am at Care Cremation & Burial (5070 Arville St. Las Vegas, NV). A burial will be take place December 29 11:20a at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
