Patricia Ann
White
Jun 25, 1937 — Jul 29, 2024
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Patricia Ann White, a cherished mother, devoted wife, beloved grandmother, and proud great-grandmother. Patricia, aged 87, peacefully left us on July 29, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.
Born on June 25, 1937, in Fairfax, Alabama, Patricia was the daughter of the late Georgia and Homer Norred. Called Patsy by her family, she grew up with a deep sense of family and community, values she carried with her throughout her life. After graduating from Valley High School in Alabama, she attended business school in Birmingham, Alabama. Patricia married the love of her life, Charles E. White Jr, on October 18, 1958. Charles was in the USAF, which started their love of travel. Together, they built a beautiful life filled with love, laughter, and shared memories.
Patricia and Charles had a passion for RV travel, exploring new places and creating lasting memories together. Their adventures took them to various destinations including Alaska, Canada, Mexico and across the United States. Their stories from these travels brought joy and inspiration to everyone around them.
Patricia was a devoted mother to her two children, Michael and Sandra. She took immense pride in being a grandmother to her four grandchildren: Christopher, Alison, Anna and Sarah. Most recently, Patricia became a great-grandmother to Lucas, Charlie and Jolene, who all brought her immense joy and happiness.
Patricia's life was a testament to her selflessness and her deep love for those around her. She enjoyed gardening, feeding hummingbirds in her backyard and rooting for the Green Bay Packers. Her nurturing nature touched everyone she met.
Patricia is survived by her daughter, Sandra Powers, son in law Darren Powers, and daughter in law Tammy White Horne, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Charles White, her son Michael White, her sister Bobbie Tillery, and her brother Art Norred.
A memorial service to celebrate Patricia's remarkable life will be held on Thursday, September 5, 2024, at 1:00 PM at Our Lady of the Valley Roman Catholic Church in Pahrump, Nevada. Following the service, we hope you will join us for hors d'oeuvres and wine at Sanders Winery in Pahrump, Nevada to celebrate the life of our beloved Patsy.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to all who have supported them during this difficult time. Patricia's memory will forever live on in the hearts of her loved ones.
