There, amidst the unfamiliar language and culture, he first laid eyes on the love of his life, Somchit. Without understanding the words she spoke, Pedro knew he was going to marry her. Their love story was a testament to the power of a connection that transcended borders. Pedro's heart was always filled with tales of his youth, particularly his love for sports, with football being his absolute favorite. He would light up whenever he reminisced about his days on the field. But as much as he loved sports, his greatest joy came from spending time with his son, Dan. Together, they accomplished Pedro's bucket list, which included watching a live football game, creating memories that would last a lifetime. Yet, amidst all the sports stories, Pedro's heart always circled back to his beloved Somchit. He knew from the moment he met her that he was meant to spend his life with her. However, she didn't say "yes" without a promise from Pedro, a promise that he wholeheartedly kept. He pledged to take care of and love her children as his own, to never harm her, and to provide for their family.He brought all of his children to America, ensuring that they had the opportunity to build a better life. To him, life's joys were found in the simplest of moments, and he cherished every opportunity to share a meal with his loved ones. Pedro and Somchit eventually retired in Thailand, where they continued to cherish their love for one another. After her passing, Pedro's children united to bring him back to America, ensuring that he was surrounded by family in his later years. Despite the challenges he faced, Pedro remained a beacon of strength and love, always finding joy in the simplest pleasures of life.
